The ACOLOP General Assembly met on 10 May in Goa, India, attended by representatives of the Olympic Committees of Angola; Brazil; Cape Verde; Goa, India; Macau, China; Mozambique; Portugal; S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 and Pr\u00edncipe and Sri Lanka. During the meeting, ACOLOP's 2012 activity report and financial report were approved, as well as its 2013 activity report and budget. The Organising Committee (LUGOC - Goa 2013) presented a report on the progress of the 3rd Lusophone Games Goa 2013, and the ACOLOP General Assembly expressed its support and confidence that the Games would be a great success.<\/p>\n
The Goa Olympic Association and the Goa Government authorities once again gave the ACOLOP family the warm welcome and friendship that is characteristic of these meetings. Taking advantage of the occasion, the ACOLOP delegation visited sports facilities and was received in audience by the Chief Minister of the Government of Goa, where they exchanged views on the organisation of the Games and, taking advantage of the circumstance, the signing by the Hon. Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister of the State of Goa, and Mr Alex, Vong Iao Lek, President of ACOLOP and Mr M\u00e1rio Rosa, Secretary General of ACOLOP, signed the Letter of Invitation to participate in the 3rd Lusophone Games Goa 2013 and handed it over to all the members of the Olympic Committees present.<\/p>\n
The 3rd Lusophone Games Goa 2013 will be held from 2 to 10 November 2013 and will be a great celebration and sporting event for ACOLOP.
