ACOLOP vice-president attends ANOC executive meeting

The Vice-President of the Association of Portuguese-speaking Committees, João Costa Alegre, took part in the ANOC Executive Board meeting, which took place on 27 April in Athens.

The 89th meeting of the ANOC Executive Board was a meeting dedicated to discussions around the main ANOC (Association of National Olympic Committees) initiatives and events aimed at offering maximum value to National Olympic Committees (NOCs).

"The ANOC Executive Board meeting was very productive. Our members engaged in constructive discussions focussed on how ANOC can better support national committees," said ANOC President Mitchell.

"ANOC exists to serve the national committees and therefore they must always be at the centre of everything we do. As we have seen, we have made very good progress in implementing our strategic plan and delivering projects that have received very positive feedback. We know there is much more we can do and we are looking forward to developing our Strategic Plan for the next four years," he added.
