IOC portrait webinar series: Fighting gender stereotypes on and off screen
We are pleased to announce our next webinar series on portraiture for NOCs. The aim of the webinar series is to promote an in-depth understanding of the concept of representation. We will highlight how adopting fair representation practices and gender equality in storytelling can improve the public perception of sport and, more specifically, of women and gender minorities in sport. In addition, the webinar series will show how these practices can improve the reputation of sports organisations, leading to positive outcomes and trends. The webinars will take place as follows:
- Webinar 1: 17 June, 08h00 - 09h15 CET (Central European Time) - English
- Webinar 2: 17 June, 10h00 - 11h15 CET - English
- Webinar 3: 19th June, 10h00 - 11h15 CET - French
- Webinar 4: 19th June, 17h00 - 18h15 CET - English and Spanish
NOCs are strongly encouraged to participate in the webinar series, as well as to share the invitation with all members of their organisation, national federations that share an interest in this topic. As indicated above, this webinar series is offered in several time zones and is available in English, French and Spanish.
