Between 27 July and 10 August, Club365 in Argenteuil hosted a vibrant celebration of Lusophone culture and sport, in a joint initiative with the HELLO CABO VERDE association. The event, entitled "Espaço Cabo Verde e Lusofonia", brought together participants from different Lusophone nationalities, creating an atmosphere of sharing, cultural exchange and celebration of the diversity that unites Portuguese-speaking countries.
In an unprecedented initiative by ACOLOP, during the two-week event visitors had the opportunity to experience a rich cultural programme that included performances of music, dance, typical cuisine and art exhibitions. Sport also featured prominently, with various demonstrations and activities that promoted socialising and community spirit among the participants.
The "Cape Verde and Lusophony Space" was a real success, reaffirming the commitment of ACOLOP and the HELLO CABO VERDE association to promote and valorise Lusophone cultures on French territory during the Paris2024 Olympic Games, strengthening ties between Portuguese-speaking countries and emigrant communities.
Special thanks to Mrs Andreia Levy, president of HELLO CABO VERDE, whose commitment and dedication were fundamental to the success of the event. We would also like to thank the city of Argenteuil in Paris for all its support and hospitality, which made it possible to organise this important cultural meeting.
