The Association of Portuguese-speaking Olympic Committees (ACOLOP) and the international company IGNITX formalised an important strategic partnership agreement during the 4th Lusophone Olympic Congress, which took place on 24 April in Praia, marking a new chapter in the organisation of the Lusophone Games.
Under the terms of this partnership, IGNITX will become ACOLOP's preferred service provider, offering its expertise in Games Management Systems, training programmes for Organising Committees and technical consultancy in various functional areas essential to the success of the Games.
The collaboration is based on a shared commitment to excellence, innovation and the promotion of Lusophone culture through sport, ensuring that the next editions of the Lusophone Games are organised with high standards of professionalism and efficiency.
"This partnership with IGNITX represents a significant step forward in strengthening the technical and operational capacity for staging the Lusophone Games," said Filomena Fortes, President of ACOLOP.
Among the services planned are the implementation of the IRAX system (Games Management System), technical training programmes adapted to local realities and specialised operational support in areas such as planning, coordination, participant registration, accreditation, sports registration, anti-doping control, among others.
Both organisations see this partnership as a long-term strategic investment for the sustainable growth of the Lusophone sports community, promoting stronger structures, more opportunities for all involved and leaving a lasting legacy in the host countries.
