ACOLOP's Ordinary General Meeting ended on 16 March 2016 with the unanimous approval of ACOLOP's Report and Accounts for the financial year 2022.
With mixed participation from ACOLOP's associate members, the General Assembly approved several items on its agenda, including the report and accounts for the 2022 financial year. After a positive opinion from the supervisory board, ACOLOP's statutory members approved the accounts.
Three significant resolutions for the Lusophone Olympic movement were also approved: (1) the invitation to H.E. Constância Mangue de Obiang, First Lady of Equatorial Guinea, to chair the Diversity and Inclusion in Sport commission for her recognised work on health, education and women's empowerment in the country First Lady of Equatorial Guinea - Constância Mangue de Obiang to chair the Diversity and Inclusion in Sport commission for her recognised work on issues of health, education and female empowerment in the country, (2) thanking the Government of Equatorial Guinea and its Olympic committee for hosting the General Assembly in her country and (3) bringing the governments and sports ministers of the CPLP countries together to discuss the future of the Lusophone Community Games.
Former ACOLOP President Gustavo da Conceição was also honoured for his dedication to the Olympic movement in Portuguese-speaking countries.
