The Association of Portuguese-speaking Olympic Committees (ACOLOP) was present at the 3rd International Sports Networking Meeting, held on 8 and 9 December 2023 in Milan. The event, which brought together 70 participants, aimed to promote collaboration between professionals in the sports sector interested in establishing new partnerships, improving the quality of their projects and developing successful and sustainable sports initiatives within the framework of the Erasmus Plus Sport Programme.
Organised in the context of Erasmus Plus Sport, the meeting provided a valuable space for organisations working in the sector to meet, get to know each other and exchange ideas on best practices for the design and implementation of sports projects.
During the two-day event, participants had the chance to take part in workshops, lectures and networking activities that addressed topics relevant to the development of sports projects under the programme. ACOLOP, representing the commitment of Portuguese-speaking countries to the development of sport, played an active role in the exchange of ideas and the search for innovative solutions.
The event reinforced the commitment of ACOLOP and the other organisations present to boost the quality and sustainability of sports projects under Erasmus Plus, thus promoting cultural and sporting exchanges between the participating countries, and looks forward to the continuation of these initiatives, ensuring their commitment to contributing to the development and promotion of sport in Portuguese-speaking nations.
