The Association of Portuguese-speaking Olympic Committees (ACOLOP) is joining in the celebration of Olympic Day, an initiative promoted by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), which this year is being held under the slogan "Let's Move".
Celebrated annually on 23 June, Olympic Day aims to celebrate the birth of the modern Olympic Movement and promote the universal values of Olympism: friendship, excellence and respect.
The 2025 edition invites the whole world to get moving, calling for physical activity in all its forms. Whether it's walking, running, dancing, swimming, cycling or any other modality, the essential thing is to embrace sport as an instrument of health, inclusion and unity between people, communities and nations.
