On 29 April 2004, a shared dream was born: strengthen ties between Portuguese-speaking countries through sport, solidarity and the sharing of Olympic values. Today, after 21 years old, a ACOLOP - Association of Portuguese-speaking Olympic Committees reaffirms its commitment to international cooperation, inclusion, sustainable development and the valorisation of Lusophone youth.
They were two decades of achievements, challenges and joint growthsport has established itself as a bridge between cultures, identities and generations. Since the Lusophone Games promoting educational, training and social projects, ACOLOP has been symbol of unity, excellence and fraternity within the Lusophone Community.
In this symbolic 21 years oldWe are celebrating not only our history, but also the future that we are building together. A more supportive, fair and activewhere the values of Olympism continue to inspire athletes, managers, coaches and communities in the four corners of the Portuguese-speaking world.
