Applications are now open for the Sporting Unity programme, an initiative funded by the European Union, which aims to engage young people in promoting values such as inclusion, social justice and Olympic education.
The programme is aimed at young people aged between 16 and 20 who speak Portuguese, offering them the opportunity to take part in an ideas competition and a range of online training activities. The initiative aims to foster critical thinking, active citizenship and a spirit of cooperation amongst participants from different cultural backgrounds.
Educators in schools, universities, clubs and associations They are invited to register their classes, groups or teams, encouraging collective participation and the development of innovative projects in line with the proposed themes.
Online information sessions will be held via Zoom on the following dates: 20 April at 3.00 pm, 29 April at 10.00 am and 8 May at 7.00 pm (Lisbon time).

The organisation also calls on institutions and participants to help publicise this initiative, with the aim of reaching as many young people as possible who are interested in taking part in this learning experience and actively getting involved.
