ACOLOP signs a Memorandum of Cooperation with FISpT

The Association of Portuguese-Speaking National Olympic Committees (ACOLOP) and the International Federation of Sport for All (FISpT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding establishing a new framework for strategic cooperation, with the aim of promoting the sustainable growth of Sport for All programmes in the Portuguese-speaking world and within the Olympic Movement.

The agreement represents an important step in strengthening relations between the two organisations, reinforcing their joint commitment to promoting physical activity, social inclusion and access to sport for all communities.

Under this Memorandum of Understanding, ACOLOP and FISpT undertake to develop joint initiatives that contribute to the promotion and expansion of Sport for All, by fostering the sharing of knowledge, best practice and opportunities for cooperation amongst their members.

The protocol also strengthens collaboration between FISpT and the National Olympic Committees that are members of ACOLOP in strategic areas such as event organisation, programme development, institutional communication, the establishment of partnerships and increasing the international visibility of the initiatives undertaken.

Through this partnership, ACOLOP reaffirms its mission to strengthen cooperation between the National Olympic Committees of Portuguese-speaking countries and to contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable approach to sport, in line with the values of the Olympic Movement.
